I want you there too.
Next month, we’re conducting a special ceremony at the Reflecting Pool behind the U.S. Capitol.
We’ll be lighting nearly 10,000 candles to honor the millions of people whose lives have been touched by cancer, and to send a message to the men and women who represent us in Washington that we want to see an end to cancer.
While I know you probably can’t be there in person, there’s an easy way to make sure you and your loved ones are with us in spirit.
For a contribution of just $10, you can dedicate a Lights of Hope bag in honor or in memory of someone you love.
Their name will be placed on a Lights of Hope luminary and displayed along with thousands of others around the U.S. Capitol Reflecting Pool.
As a cancer survivor myself, it’s hard to explain how meaningful this ceremony is. The emotional experience of celebrating survivorship, remembering those we have lost, and advocating to make cancer a national priority, is something that can’t be matched.
I hope that you and those you love will be represented at this moving event. Get your Lights of Hope and let us know who you want to honor.
p.s. Want to honor more than one person? Our easy form allows you to dedicate up to five Lights of Hope.
