CANCER-RELATED BILLS INTRODUCED DURING THE 29TH GUAM LEGISLATURE:

Bill 216: Introduced by Representatives Won Pat, Muna-Barnes and Shimizu, Bill 16 would prohibit smoking within government vehicles and within fifteen feet outside of a doorway leading into a public building or facility where smoking is prohibited.

PROGRESS TOWARDS A SMOKE-FREE GUAM

In November, 2007, Governor Comacho signed an executive order to develop model smoke-free workplaces in all government buildings and to develop a comprehensive tobacco control plan for the island.
