The American Cancer Society has several priority issues that we are working on. One of our top priorities is ensuring the proper implementation of the 2008 Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act passed last session which goes into effect on June 1, 2009. Another top priority will be advocating for access to lifesaving breast and colon cancer screenings.
The American Cancer Society will also be holding its Nebraska State Lobby Day on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 with specific focus on breast and colon cancer screenings. Plan to join us in fighting back against cancer!
